The Platform

This trading platform functions much the same as a common website. The Navigation Bar provides easy access to trading tools through drop-down menus. The Indices Bar provides real-time snapshots of major market indices. (Market data updates every time you refresh your browser web page.) Buttons at the top of the platform help you Log Off, Switch Accounts, and access Online Help.

Targeted Help (information specific to a particular window or function) is available wherever you see the symbol.

The Quick Quote Bar (permenantly located at the bottom on your browser window) provides an easy way to get a quote for any stock symbol. Because this bar appears on every page, quotes can be obtained quickly, no matter where you are in the system.

Links are available throughout the platform to speed up the tasks you perform most, such as trading, charting, creating watch lists and obtaining news. Move from one section of the site to another with the stock information pre-filled for easy trading and research.

For security reasons, platform pages "expire" immediately so that you cannot use your browser "Back" button for navigation. Use the site's menus instead.
