Charts Overview

When evaluating a stock or a group of stocks, charts can provide a clear picture at a glance. The Charts section gives you access to two groups of charts: Intraday and Historical. The only difference between the two chart types is time. Intraday Charts display a stock's trading performance for the current day, while Historical Charts graph a stock's performance over a longer period (using the day-end closing prices for the security).

Comparison versions of these charts are also available. Intraday Comparison and Historical Comparison charts permit two stocks to be graphed on the same chart. You can even graph a security against a popular index such as the NASDAQ 100.
