Research

The Research section provides instant access to real-time information about both individual stock symbols and the market as whole.

To view research, select Research from the Feature section of the Main Menu, and then choose an information type from the drop-down menu.

The same tools are also provided on the Research (News) Tool Bar.

Research for the Market as a Whole

Research about the market as a whole is most easily accessible through the Icons in the Research Tool Bar.

Options include:

	Main Menu: Provides browser-based access to available research tools.
	RAiDAR: Provides streaming, real-time headline news from 80+ sources. Click a headline to view the full article.
	KNO-Zone: Displays real-time story abstracts -- over 300 stories per day -- including: Breaking News, Movers, Analyst Commentary, Upgrades & Downgrades, Earnings & Guidance, Sector Commentary & Updates, Rumors, and Word on the Street
	Morning+Plus: Customizable tool for quickly identifying actionable news and events for a group of securities. Up to 19 "focus-list specific" content modules are available, and each module can be enabled or disabled to broaden or refine the scope of the report.
	RAiDAR Filters: Sorts news and searches news archives by date, symbol, Index or type.
	SEC Filings: Search SEC EDGAR Filings according to symbol or filing group.
	Market Calendar: View important market events by day and category.
	Earnings Calendar: View important shareholder events by date. Search for events by symbol or category. Filter calendar data by Portfolio, Release Time, Market-Cap, Exchange, and Sector.
	Conference Calls: Displays scheduled conference calls by date.
	Shareholder Meetings: Displays shareholder meetings by date.
	Media Events: Displays scheduled media events by date.
	Company Presentations: Displays scheduled company presentations by date.
	Miscellaneous Events: Displays scheduled events, by dates, that do not fit into other categories.
	Conferences: Displays conferences by date.
	52-Week High: Lists companies that have hit 52-week highs.
	52-Week Low: Lists companies that have hit 52-week lows.
	Volume Alert: Lists companies that have had dramatic changes in volume.
	Moving Averages: Lists stocks that are moving through a certain critical average.

Research for Individual Stock Symbols

Research for individual stock symbols is most easily accessed through the drop-down menu on the Research Tool Bar. Research will be returned for the symbol currently in your Market Depth Window.

Options include:

Recon: Provides a snapshot view of important company information. Data includes intraday and historical charts, stock activity, analyst ratings, current events, comparison groups, and alerts.

Tear Sheet: Provides a corporate profile, recent news, statistics, financial summary, regulatory and ticker history, and key management information.

Financial: Displays a spreadsheet of annual and quarterly financial information including: interest income, interest expense, net income, EPS and more.

Estimates: Provides earnings and revenue estimates for the quarter and the year.

Insider Transactions: Displays important insider transaction and institutional holding information. The top 10 shareholders are listed.

Institutional Holdings: Lists overall stock information, including details of stock held by institutions, and lists of recent buyers and sellers.

History: Provides a timeline of important corporate events.

SEC EDGAR Filings: Sorts corporate filings by type, date, or keyword.

PDF Reports: For personal use only, provides access to downloadable corporate reports.
