Historical Charts

Historical Charts display daily, weekly, or monthly data for a period of 1 month up to 20 years or MAX (maximum). Use Historical Charts to see how a stock has performed over time. Advanced studies such as MACD, Stochastics, Money Flow, and Relative Strength can be overlaid onto your chart to assist you in your search for trends.

Create a Historical Chart

  1. Select the Charts from the Feature drop-down menu.
  2. A Charts window will appear. Enter a valid stock symbol in the upper-left hand corner and press the "Enter."
  3. Select a chart type from the drop-down menu (located toward the top of the chart). "Candlestick" is set as the default chart type.
  4. Select a time from the drop-down menu provided (located toward the top of the chart). "D" refers to "Day," "M" refers to "Month" and "Y" refers to "Year". "Max" is the maximum time available for the selected stock. Historical Charts are those spanning at least 1 month (1M).
