The Activity section of the Portfolio window lists all trades executed that day. View in-depth data, including: status, commissions, time of execution, miscellaneous fees, quantity traded, average price and much more. Account totals are provided at the bottom of the window.
The Activity window lists all trades executed that day. These trades can be sorted in ascending or descending order by data field. Data Fields are the categories listed at the top of the Activity window and include the following:
Symbol |
The company's officially registered stock symbol. |
Order Number |
Unique number associated with your order. |
Time |
Time the order was transacted. |
Type |
"1" indicates a non-marginable cash purchase; "2" indicates that the purchase was made in a margin account; "3" indicates a short sale; "S" indicates a straddle. |
Qty |
Quantity of shares requested for fill. |
Average Price |
The price at which the security was transacted (purchased or shorted). If the same stock was transacted over time at different prices, the prices are averaged together. |
Commission |
The fee paid to execute a trade. |
Misc Fees |
Fees associated with the order (excluding Commissions). |
Order Type |
Type of order placed: Market, Stop Market, Stop Limit, Limit, etc. |
Amount |
The total amount of the trasaction. Calulated as Quantity times Price minus Commission minus Misc. Fees. |
Contra |
Actual route used to place the order. |
Trader |
Platform ID of the individual who placed the order. |
Route |
Exchange requested for the transaction. |
P/L |
Profit or Loss generated by the trade. Calculated as the difference between cost and Market Value, excluding commission cost. |
The Totals Bar (located at the bottom of the Portfolio window) contains the following data:
Total Quantity |
Number of shares you currently hold. |
Total Open P/L |
Profit or Loss for current Open Positions. Calculated as the difference between Cost and Market Value, excluding commission cost. |
Total Market Value |
The current market value of the security -- equal to the number of shares times the current market price. |
Total Cost |
The total cost of purchasing securities. |
