Tasks and Functions

This system performs many tasks and functions that are vital to the health and well-being of any broker/dealer. The bulleted items below provide a short list of its capabilities and functions.

General:

• Log in or log out of the system

Trader Profiles:

• Add a Trader Profile, or Add a Trader Profile and Account simultaneously.
• Manage a Trader Profile already in the system;
• Edit General trader information and his/her Address;
• Manage the trader's access to software, data and accounts via Entitlements;
• View Trader Stats;
• Manage Exchange Agreements;
• View AOM Strategies created through the platform;
• View the Routes the trader is allowed to use; and
• View the Admin entitlements the trader is permissioned for.

 

Accounts:

• Add a new Account, or Add a Trader Profile and Account simultaneously.
• Find and edit an Account already in the system;
• Edit General and Customer information;
• Permission and depermission Authorized Traders for the account;
• View Positions held, Orders placed, account Activity, the trade Journal, account Balances and available Buying Power.

Margin Schemes:

• Add a Margin Scheme;
• Edit or Delete Margin Schemes

 

Message Center:

• Send Notifications to one or more traders;
• Create a Template for future use;
• Search for previously sent Notifications; and
• Edit or Cancel a Notification.

Trades:

• View Orders that have been placed by clients;
• Cancel Orders (normal cancel);
• Force Cancel orders (if an order is stuck);
• Nuke Orders (in extreme cases only);
• View Rejected Orders and find out why they were rejected;
• View Deleted Executions;
• get Pink Sheet Quotes;
• generate Trade Reports;
• Update DART Settings to change the platform's default settings;
• Update Route Settings to temporarily disconnect a route; and
• View OATS Manual Orders.

Commissions:

• Add Commission Plans to craft overall rate schemes;
• Manage (Edit) Commission Plans;
• Add Stock Schemes;
• Add Bulletin Board Schemes;
• Add Option Schemes;and
• Add ECN Schemes;
• Manage (Edit) Sub-Commissions (stock, option, bulletin board, etc);

Reports:

• Use the Commissions Report tools to view Generate Commission Reports, and see details about plans traders used with the Commission Report tool.
  
  
• Use Report-Generation tools to view Admin Events, create OATS Reports, view ECN Fees and generate data Usage Reports by date.
  
  
• Use Trade Search tools to diagnose order problems with the help of an Order Tree; search for Open Orders by Symbol or by Routing ID; or view Trades by Symbol or by Contra.

Batch Processing:

• Batch Processing Credits and Debits

Server Data

• Cancel Order; and
• Nuke Order

Demo System

• Add a new Demo User
• Find and edit a Demo Account already in the system; and
• View Demo Reports.
